Since his youth, Indika Ramachandra was an exceptional player in the Gentlemen’s game with the ambition of realizing his childhood dream of joining the national cricket team of Sri Lanka. Coca Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd. which recognized the zest and remarkable cricket skills that Indika had within, went to the extent of sponsoring him as the only school boy cricketer to be sponsored by the company at that time.
In the verge of getting into the national cricket team, fate decided to take a spin on Indika and his family. His beloved father who was the only income producer in the family became paralyzed and this tossed the family to a very difficult stance. With inches close to entering the national cricket team, this situation created an unfavorable momentum for Indika’s cricket career and hence his hunt for an employment opportunity began.
He then bagged a job at a leading private retail bank in the island and joined its IT department. With the word ‘cricket’ resonating in the back of his mind constantly, Indika was delighted with his new assignment merely because he was granted with the liberty of going for cricket practices on time. At a time as such, the persevering nature of Indika upheld him to the standard to be fit enough to represent the national team along with his peers at that time who are prominent individuals in the sport up to date.
Despite his exceptional performance, Indika later faced a tragic event where a cricket ball hit bad on one of his fingers breaking it and shattering his chock-full of cricket dreams in a flick of a second. Fearing that his long due passion for helping others and adding significant value to the society is seeing a halt, Indika began to contemplate the superior goal in his life and started perceiving his higher education in the stream which was at high demand at that time, IT.
Excelling in every engaged activity is a habit that Indika had cultivated amongst himself and as a result, this multi-talented individual was offered a national scholarship to Sweden to indulge in the know-how and implementation of fiber optics in Sri Lanka. Indika who is a thorough believer in constant value addition for oneself, seized the pinnacle of his career by being a global director of a multi-national organization within a very limited time span.
Rejuvenating his passion for philanthropy, Indika crafted his vision 2025 called ‘THE’ where he looks forward in building a Temple and contribute to other religions, build a Hospital and a sustainable Elderly care home facility. With his pure desire in pursuing these community projects, Indika swiftly distinguished his gift in life and attained his moment of realization of sharing his knowledge and experience gathered from his arduous yet ardent journey, in order to empower people and extend them the required support in reaching their desired state in life. And so, Results Coaching came into being and became his lifestyle, where he, at present practices his gift in life with utmost zeal, on a daily basis.
Indika has laid thousands of hours in transforming the lives of hundreds of fortunate individuals within a wide extend of 13 – 85 year olds from Sri Lanka and around the globe. His results coaching has gratified various walks of lives ranging from doctors, engineers, businessmen, corporate leaders and corporates, sportsmen, students, people with addictions to get over those, people who have sold drugs to Hollywood celebrities to overcome their business line… to name but a few. Indika continues his passion-filled journey in bridging the real gap within people in reaching their pinnacle, and making a better tomorrow for everyone and the society at large.
